A UNIQUE "RETREAT" FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

The “EY” RETREAT can be held in various welcoming spaces. It includes three days full of elements of "nourishing" the body, spirit and mind for healthcare providers (doctors, dentists, nurses) and healthcare workers (pharmacists, dietitians, nutritionists, nursing and administrative staff).
The program includes elements of enhancing empathy and establishing healthy boundaries, time management, effective communication and goal-setting with techniques of the NLP system, nutrition, physical and mental exercise and relaxation (yoga, sound baths, drama, meditation) and other elements of human skills ( soft skills) that are essential for health workers.

THE EY RETREAT IS ADDRESSED TO DOCTORS AND HEALTH PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN:

• Learning how they can develop a healthy way of thinking that strengthens their resilience and resourcefulness
in the daily management of challenges in the personal and professional environment
• Learning how to manage stress and develop their personal care plan

THE ORGANIZERS

Dr. Maria Antoniadou, PhD, assistant professor, Department of Dentistry, School of Health Sciences, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, ACSTH by ICF and AC Accredited Coach. Founder of “Coaching Spirit Gallery” for an alternative view of the health sciences, the enhancement of resilience and quality improvement in health enterprises.

Dr. Alexandra Efthymiadou, PhD, NLP Master trainer, founder of nlpgreece®. With studies in psychology, PhD in Human Resource Development, she has many years of experience in the application of the NLP system, studying the discrete effectiveness and the design and implementation of innovative approaches aimed at developing a better mindset for change management, adoption of new roles, coping and taking on challenges.

Christina Antoniadou, musician, sound therapist, elected fellow of the Royal Academy of Music, London, MMUs, LRAM, ARAM, Dip GRST. Certified sound therapist by the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST). Member of the International Therapeutic Sound Association. Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music, London. Founder of SoundQuest.

The 40-hour program includes lecture modules with experiential exercises, training materials/manuals, yoga, special relaxation exercises, meditations and sound baths, coffee breaks and a certificate of attendance.

Margarita Oktoratou

A graduate of the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition of the Harokopei University of Athens, as well as of the Department of Nursing School of Athens. 

She has a Master's degree (MSc) in Nutrition, Public Health and Policies from the Agricultural University of Athens and NLP Master Practitioner certification from NLP University, Santa Cruz, California. Founder of nutribalance by om. Certified NLP Coach.

Alexandri Dimitra

Dietitian-Nutritionist, specialized in the science of Metabolomics and eating disorders, certified NLP coach.

Graduated ATEI of Nutrition and Dietetics, Crete) (founder of "Chooselife by Dimitra Alexandri"). She completed her postgraduate studies at the National Center of Eating Disorders (NCFED) in London. Editor-in-Chief of the electronic magazine 'Food for thought'. Member of the European Institute of Nutritional Medicine (EINu.M). Specialization in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from NLP University, Santa Cruz, Califorrnia, certified NLP Coach.

Theodora G. Kalogerakou.

Sports Scientist (MSc, PhD cand.). Graduated in Physical Education and Sports, AUTH, with specialization and master's degree in Therapeutic Gymnastics and Metabolic Bone Diseases.

Iota Myroforidou

Yota Myroforidou has 19 years of professional experience in teaching different practices in yoga. 

In 2006, she completed the teacher training program at the Sivananda Vedanta International Center in Neyyar Dam, India and gained an in-depth knowledge of the breathing techniques, postures and spiritual elements of yoga teaching. 

Her love for yoga as a philosophy and practice led her to want to share and offer through teaching the benefits of yoga. In the personal space she maintains in Nea Penteli, she teaches the practice of yoga and at the same time organizes and participates in seminars in nature.

Katerina Manziou

Katerina Manziou is a graduate of the higher drama school ¨Archi¨, the School of Mime and Physical Theater of Desmond Jones, London.

As a certified NLP Master Practitioner from NLP University, Santa Cruz, California, she combines the tools of theater and has designed and implemented specialized communication techniques seminars for professionals. Indicative: "Speak freely" – setting and voice in the hands of a professional, "Mood management" etc. She has starred in major theater productions such as: Once Upon a Time in the Bosphorus (dir. Sofia Spyratou), The Wedding of Kotrouli (dir. G. Kalatzopoulos), Don't Laugh is Serious, (dir. Gr. Valtinos) Bretania Theater, Aeschylus's Eumenides ( dir. Anna Synodinou), Epidaurus, The Card Player (dir. Vass. Myrianthopoulos), Porta theater, Tale Without a Name, (dir. Moumoulidis), DIPETHE Patras-Volos, 'All Sex in Sussex, (dir. Vlad Kyriakidis), Smaroula Theatre. On television, he has acted in series including: Mom's Cake, The Key, Friends, West Suburbs Lover, 10th Commandment, 3rd Law, Murder, Safe Sex, Love. In the cinema she has participated in the films ¨The Kiss of Life¨ and ¨Straight Story¨. She teaches theater education to children and adults and uses her voice in dubbing.
